Causes of Acne
Acne pops out on your face because the skin pores are clogged with sebum and dead skin cells. The clogging pores are the conducive place to live and stay for bacterium P. acne. This bacterium cause the inflamed skins which we know as acne. The question is what the factors that can trigger acne. There are many suggestion about these causes. The most common causes are hormones, diet, hygiene, vitamin deficiency, stress level and genetic.

- Limit eating processed foods and junk foods. Processed foods and junk foods, more often than not, contain high fats and sugars that make our body release insulin hormone to balance cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood. Insulin hormone cause androgen activities increasing which make sebum production increasing too.
- Avoid touching the affected area. Acne basically is skin infection because of bacteria. If you often touch it with unclean hands, you only make the infection get worse.

Natural Remedies For Itchy Acne
- Aloe vera
Aloe vera produces substances like gel that often use as the ingredients for skin topical creams or ointments. It is because aloe vera gel contain antibacterial and immuno-modulatory that can prevent skin infection caused by bacteria and improve the immunity system, so that the healing process will be much faster. When acne itches the skin, rub aloe vera gel over the affected area. The cold sensation from the gel soothes the pain and itchy feeling of acne. Aloe vera gel is available in common drug stores.
- Yoghurt and oatmeal
Yoghurt contains antibacterial properties that can kill bacteria before they infect the skins. Yoghurt also gives cold sensation that can soothe the itchy skins. We need to exfoliate the skins regularly to remove dead skin cells that can block the skin pores. The natural remedy for exfoliating is oatmeal. Mixing oatmeal with yoghurt will become the best way to treat acne as well as to relieve the itches. Leave oatmeal-yoghurt mixture on the face for about 20-30 minutes before you rinse it off.
- Honey and cinnamon
Honey has been used since long time ago to treat infection and soothe acne itches. Cinnamon works by inhibiting the effects of nitric oxide which are included the acne pain. Add one teaspoon of cinnamon powder to 3 tablespoons of honey. Apply the mixture over the affected area. Leave it all night and rinse it off first thing in the morning.
